We have lots of great things growing in our garden in addition to the beautiful blooms from the fruit trees. Stop by and enjoy. If you like broccoli, some of the plants have florets that are ready to pick. You will need a knife or a pair of scissors to harvest them. There is also Swiss chard that is ready. When harvesting, just cut the bottom leaves and let the smaller ones continue to grow. We still have some space, if you are interested in planting some summer vegetables for everyone to enjoy. The drip irrigation system is nearly complete and should be operational this week. If you have any bamboo in your yard, we could use a few stalks to make towers for our tomatoes, peas and other climbing vegetables. Just drop the bamboo off and we will make the towers next weekend. We need some support at the City Council meeting this Monday if you can make it (See below). The shed is the last item on the agenda, so you do not need to be there at the start, but should arrive around 6:30.
